LONDON BROIL recipe | Negronis pie recipe | London broil Recipe | London chicken recipe Ingredients: 2 tablespoons sugar or honey 2 tablespoons butter or margarine 2 large eggs 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon pepper, or to taste 3 cups chicken or beef stock 1/3 cup sugar 2 teaspoons salt 1 cup grated orange zest or 2 tablespoons lemon juice, to taste Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a medium bowl, whisk together the sugar and honey until light and fluffy.

In another medium bowl beat the eggs and flour, salt, pepper, and orange zests together until just combined.

Stir in the chicken stock, sugar, and lemon juice and beat until well combined.

Add chicken to the bowl, along with the remaining flour, sugar and salt.

Add the orange zEST, lemon juice to taste, and mix well.

Fold in the reserved flour mixture and mix until just incorporated.

Pour batter into a greased pie dish.

Bake for about 25 minutes, or until the crust is set and the edges are golden brown.

Let cool before serving.

Recipe Notes: The Negronia pie is perfect with a salad.

It also can be made ahead of time and chilled for up to a week.

I suggest a little more orange zesty zest and lemon zest in the sauce.
